Hello my dear Sara Kruzan supporters.....
PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR MY DELAY IN KEEPING YOU INFORMED.... Sara is great and in great spirits. Sara's attorneys have attended the latest hearing on Sara's behalf, however, the hearing that we are all axiously awaiting has been pushed back to February 14.
I have received a few hundred letters over the past few weeks since posting Court related news... and I know that this seems unfair and unjust that Sara has to continue the agony of waiting, hoping, fighting and allllll the internal & external feelings that come along with being anxious for Sara's release... however, I have to openly and honestly say that Sara is OK with everything that is taking place. It's not easy, but faith, hope & patience is something that she has learned to have without a shadow of doubt.
Sara's attorneys are working from several angle's in pursuing Sara's freedom... as you can imagine, this is by no means an easy task. Although we the people, supporters, family members, friends, etc... see Sara's incarceration as an injustice, we still must continue to fight for her cause.
I would highly and strongly recommend, that if you already have not done so, please write letters to the Governor of California. PLEASE HEAR ME WHEN I SAY ......."NOW IS THE TIME!!!!"

Hello everyone,
I am extremely happy to announce Sara's rescheduled court date.
By the way, I by no means meant to alarm everyone when I sent out the email stating that the old date had to be rescheduled. I should have been much more specific by saying that Sara's attorney's needed some time to prepare for the hearing. We are remaining 'patient' as CRAZY and as HARD as that may sound, especially after all of these years... 
After all, we are all so ready for our dear Sara to come home, right? Ok, so the new date is:
Tuesday, September 14 at 1:30pm

Dear Supporters:
This is the moment that we've all been waiting for... Sara's resentencing hearing date has been scheduled for August 10 @ 1:30pm PST. Wow, I must admit that I am on cloud nine after receiving the news this morning. This is by far one of the happiest days of my life.
This date may change, but I will keep everyone updated as best as I can. I will have FREE SARA KRUZAN t-shirts available for sell between now and mid-August. You will be able to purchase the shirts exclusively here on Sara's website.

Dear Supporters:
First, I must say, THANK YOU so much on the behalf of Sara, her family and myself. All of you are amazing. Your continued support has meant so much to Sara and her case.
Secondly, I received over 800 emails between June 1, 2010 and today. I would like to share that I recently lost my dad with a long battle of illnesses. As a result, I have been away traveling for a little over 1 month. With that being said, please forgive me for not being able to keep up in responding to all of your emails and posted messages during this difficult time. However, please know that I have received all of your Letter's of Support, Your Questions, Comments, etc.... and will be getting back to you by the end of this week. ((I would like to also like to thank those of you who have been able to actively respond to other supporters on Sara's website.))
The Great news is that Sara's sentence has been officially Vacated as of July 21, 2010. This means that she will go in front of a judge for resentencing very soon. I will give all of your letters of support to Sara's attorney's to be passed to the judge.
Important: Please no letter's to the judge directly, no letter's to the former sentencing judge. You may send all letter's of support to me in the Body of the Email. Please no attachments. Sara was recently granted a Resentencing Hearing!!!!!!! Sara's attorney's are working very hard to bring our Precious Sara home and YOUR SIGNATURE'S & LETTER'S on PETITION'S are being noticed and read. YOUR VOICE is being heard. YOUR SPREADING THE WORD about Sara's case has not gone unnoticed and we THANK YOU so very much!
Most of you may know by now that a few month's ago Sara was denied a new trial, but this wonderful news confirms that we must ALWAYS keep HOPE alive. When one door closes another door opens.. We have to walk through this door and take this fight all the way to securing Sara's freedom. No Stopping! Are you with me?
With that being said, WE CONTINUOUSLY NEED YOUR HELP! We are getting so close...

LIFE 'cruel & unusual' PUNISHMENT for TEENS - SUPREME COURT RULES!!!

Well we are finally getting somewhere... and I would most definitely have to thank all of you for taking a stance for teenagers in similar situations like Sara's. All of your support is heard, TRUST ME!!!
Although this ruling does not change the verdict in Sara's case it is a HUGE step in the RIGHT direction. This ruling was in favor of teens no longer being sentenced to Life in Prison for "non" homicidal cases.

For those of you who are already are aware of the most recent update regarding Sara's case, she was recently denied a new trial in court on February 10, 2010.
Although this site should have posted the news first (after all, I was aware of the outcome at 2:00 a.m. on February 11, 2010... ) As much as I must remain strong, the truth is that "this HURT deeply" and it took some time for me to swallow. I could not help but to feel Sara through the distance thinking about all the ways that she must have felt.
Sara is my friend and she is my sister - I know her well, I know that this hit her heart as devastating news, but I also know that she still feels a sense of HOPE. I know that Sara knows with all her heart that the fight must continue... This is just the beginning and remember - "TOGETHER WE STAND TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE".

Hello everyone,
Many of you would like to know the status of Sara's case and I totally understand your concerns and desire's to want to help her in any way possible. I humbly thank you so much for your suppport, however, at this time Sara and I are not able to discuss the details of her case or pending court proceedings. I can tell you that Sara has an amazing team of Pro Bono Attorney's who are working extremely hard to seek freedom for Sara. Please understand that it is in the best interest of Sara to not discuss this information at this time.
For those of you who would like to help or volunteer your time, the best thing to do is continue to spread the word so that no matter what Sara will not be forgotten and lost in the system. Together we can and Together we will make a difference not only for Sara but for ALL victims of Abuse of any kind, Human Sex Trafficking and Child Sex Trafficking.
